Biographie

Martin Camiré est professeur agrégé à l’École des sciences de l’activité physique de l’Université d’Ottawa. Par l’entremise de sa recherche, Dr. Camiré cherche à optimiser le développement positif des jeunes dans le contexte sportif. De plus, Dr. Camiré s’intéresse particulièrement à mieux comprendre le rôle des entraîneurs dans le processus de développement et de transfert des habiletés de vie (e.g., établissement d’objectifs, leadership, prise de décision efficace) chez les jeunes sportifs. Son enseignement se situe dans les champs de l’intervention, la promotion de la santé et les méthodes de recherche.

  • La promotion d’expériences sportives de qualité
  • La formation des entraîneurs sur le développement positif des jeunes
  • Le transfert des habiletés apprises en sport à divers contextes de vie
